Recently, B had the opportunity to “cash in” on a late birthday gift from his cousin A.
Earlier in the spring, A sent B a special certificate good for a trip to her favorite zoo whenever B made it up into her neck of the woods.
This was my attempt to capture their recent zoo trip with photos…
Ready and set to go…the two held each other’s hands in the car on the way to the zoo. B wore his alligator crocs in honor of all the animals he was looking forward to seeing.
We saw the tigers first…both A & B were quite fascinated.
Then the camels…
Prairie dogs…
Bald eagle…
And bears!
The bear exhibit was really neat, the bears would swim up to this window and press their GIGANTIC paws against the glass. (It was at the bear exhibit that I sort of lost interest/got distracted with capturing all the animals on film).
I love this photo of both kids with their beloved snack traps.
There was a butterfly garden exhibit that didn’t allow strollers, the two enjoyed the opportunity to stretch their legs and explore a little.
Both A and B were more interested in the water in the garden than the actual butterflies.
An attempt to capture a photo with A and her mom, M, since mom’s are usually behind the camera and not in front of it (better luck next time).
Lunch after our zoo exploration was complete.
The two when we arrived home…totally wiped out, but totally content with our fun filled morning.
Praise God for the opportunity to see His incredible creativity and handiwork through all the different creatures at the zoo!
Thanks M & A for the special memory, we can’t wait to make more!
Be blessed.
