Papa needed to head south just after Little C came home from the hospital. Gigi was able to extend her stay a bit (one perk of retirement 
) .
The nuggets enjoyed the extra attention that Gigi was able to provide them with…they played around our neck of the wood and went out of a few special adventures sans their momma and little brother (which I’m sure both nuggets enjoyed!).
One adventure was the kids art studio…
And of course, the train layout at the studio was a hit (for B, probably more than the art!)…
The nuggets also enjoyed reading lots of books…
And getting as much play time with Gigi in as possible!
Gigi and B baked a special cake for a very important birthday that took place a few days after C was born…
They both made sure that the birthday guy…Daddy, had enough candles to blow out!
The cake was delicious, as is evidenced by these two devouring the sugary treat!
C was thrilled about Gigi and Papa’s birthday gift and the nuggets were thrilled about the box it came delivered in!
Other noteworthy moments of Little C’s first few days at home included, watching the older nuggets fall in love with their little brother…
And returning to life as usual (or better dubbed, our new normal!)like mowing the lawn…
Like father, like son!
I know that this little guy will be mowing the lawn with his big brother and Daddy before we know it, but until then we’ll enjoy him just like this…
