My brothers and I (and several childhood friends) learned how to “drive” behind this steering wheel.
Let’s just say that this lawn mower, which has been dubbed “The Tractor” has been parallel parked between pine trees and driven through made up obstacle courses…which led to a few run-ins with tree trunks and the occasional flip on the tractor’s side (though no injuries ever resulted :) ). The rule was never to let the blade down and to never go over speed #5!
The tractor has been able to enjoy a few years to cool off and gear up for its next generation of riders…B seemed to do well behind the steering wheel as he did eye a couple of trees to do loop-d-loops around.
Oh, the simple joys that summer brings!
