The Park

Now that we have a little walker on our hands it is more fun to do things like go to the park.

So, we decided to take a trip to a nearby park with some special people this afternoon. As we walked up the sidewalk, B’s face lit up…the bright colors, noises and other kids caught his attention right away.

 

B’s little face had a smile from ear to ear as he got pushed on the swing. He giggled as I tried to push him “under-dog” style. He got to swing next to his pal M who frequents this park often.

 

After swinging, B got a little more adventurous and walked over to this little airplane spring toy…he rode it just like the jet-ski, he held on tight and smiled!

I have to admit that I love the fishing button down, madras shorts, sun hat and alligator crocs…oh, the simple joys that come from dressing a little boy.

He really investigated this toy as he played…again, I wish I could get inside his little head.

Little side note…his hat is flipped up because he has discovered a new joy for airplanes as they pass overhead. When he hears one, he looks up, points and makes a “OHHHHH….” sound and smiles. I thought the brim of the hat was inhibiting his ability to look up, really we are not trying to set any new toddler fashion statements…promise.
