The girls on the porch of our house.
The men folk in front of the house.
The crew about to head out on a bike ride around Lake Dillon. And apparently B got a part as one of the mushroom people in a Mario Bros. production.
Lake Dillon is amazing. This lake is at around 9200 feet and was frozen 3 weeks before we got there.
The crew on the trail.
It was gorgeous.
The crew and yes, the sky was that blue.
And we found a Starbucks. Weird.
We all have our priorities/thoughts on proper hydration while cycling.
So here is where I take a break and remember that B isn’t invincible. Something got him good and he started running a fever up to and including 105 degrees. A side note regarding emergency rooms. We have had to make a trip to Cook’s Emergency Room where it looked like the walking dead. We waited for over 3 hours and finally left around 1 am before we even saw a doctor (B bumped his eye and by that time the swelling went down enough to where S and I were comfortable heading to the house and we deemed it more dangerous for him to be around all those people rather than sleeping off a shiner). Well fast forward to the emergency room in Frisco. It was on a hill overlooking Lake Dillon, we pulled up around 9 pm on Sunday night and there were about 6 cars in the parking lot. No one in the waiting room and we were even called back before we could finish the two sheets of paperwork. As we walked in the room there were 3 nurses and the doctor was in the room in less than 2 minutes. Let’s just say that the emergency room experiences could not have been much more polar opposites of each other.
B loved driving the boat.
It was a gorgeous day to be out on that lake.
Like I said, he took to it.
What? Do you need the computer? I am about done. Let me just set up Pandora to get some music going.
