B HAS POTTY POWER!!!!
Both C and I feel like this is a monumental rite of passage both for 3 year old little ones and for their parents…what a ride it has been.
4 attempts and about 7 months later our little guy has finally entered the realm of being a ‘big kid’…as we’ve said goodbye to pull ups and successfully worn ‘big boy unda wayr’ for the past week!!!!
There are sure to be bumps in the road…and mad dashes to public restrooms…but all things considered it’s time to celebrate!!!!
In honor of this milestone we held a miniature celebration complete with homemade milkshakes, balloons, a banner and the famed ‘Owanj Garbage Truck’.
The toy truck has been the source of motivation…the carrot of sorts…since October as B has known that the truck would be his to play with as soon as he had potty power.
B was thrilled about the truck, but even more excited about the potty clip art glued to his banner.
After taking the truck for a test ride we called Gigi, Papa, Gram and Grandpa to share the special news. They heard all about big boy pants and even more importantly about the mechanics of the little toy truck.
How in the world are we old enough to have this in our rear view mirror? Where has the time gone?
