For summer!
We headed north to help get the ‘Cabin Home’ ready for summer.
Despite the chilly (C and my dad might say frigid) water…the dock is in thanks to some sweet cheering from this petite peanut gallery…
And help from this little guy…
B helped for several consecutive hours as he walked back and forth from the garage carrying different tools that he thought might help with the dock assembly process.
C and Little A made sure that Ella got her share of fetch in between ‘chores’ as Ella proved to be less than rusty with her retrieving skills from last summer.
When Little A wasn’t ‘cheering’ the boys on…she was busy as is typical for this little nugget. We found this little play cube at a yard sale on the side of the road on our way home from a trip into town…A loved it and seemed to conquer sliding down the slide and climbing up the slide in hardly any time at all. Hopefully the toy will keep her attention at least for a bit longer as her little legs are still less than intrigued to try walking.
After the dock assembly was complete we hopped into the boat to launch it for the season. B thought it was pretty silly to ride in the boat as it was towed behind the car.
B was less than impressed when the boat was backed into the water at the boat launch…as is identified by this fake smile!
Once B regained his sea legs we enjoyed a quick ride and found ourselves getting rather excited for the next few summer months in northern neck of the wood!
We can’t wait for all the fun (and hopefully visitors) this summer holds!
Be blessed.
