The thermometer in Our Neck of the Woods has taken a turn in a very exciting direction!
The temperature the last few days has flirted with actual spring-like weather…50, 55 and even 60 degrees, okay, not quite Texas-like…but almost!
It’s been fun to see our neighbors and other Minnesota-folk venture out from hibernation as the sidewalks have been lined with runners, walkers and bikers all weekend long.
B took in the nice weather by heading outside (per C & my suggesting) to clean up sticks. I’ll be honest, watching him walk around the yard in his fleece and rain boots made my momma heart skip a few beats.
Day light savings did our little family well this year as the time change allowed us to slip a ‘Pajama Walk’ in between dinner and and bedtime. It felt so good to get out, stretch our legs and breath in the beautiful spring-like air.
These two pups almost feel asleep as we walked, it was nice to have them already for bed once we got home.
I wouldn’t put it past this crazy winter to snow another time or two in the next few weeks…but spring is in sight, which means we have been bitten by the spring fever bug and are ready to get outside and continue exploring this new neck of the wood that God has provided our little family with.
Be blessed.
