A woman at our church mentioned her crazy goal for she and her kiddos this fall…try to visit a different apple orchard or pumpkin patch each week!
I don’t know if I’m up for the challenge just yet…but the leaves are starting to change and last Friday seemed like a FUN day for a little nugget outing.
With-that-said, we donned our purple in honor of the Frogs (thank you Gigi and Papa for your sweet purple package!!!!) and headed out to the apple orchard we had explored last fall, though not before driving through Starbucks to get my first ‘Pumpkin Spice Latte’ of the season!
Upon arriving, I learned that picking apple cost $32.00 a bag!!! Seriously!
I quickly came to the conclusion that this little group of three wouldn’t gain the entire value out of picking a heavy $32.00 bag of apples…so we compromised with exploring the orchard and enjoying a hayride.
B was thrilled to see some of the tractors we had seen last fall on our visit…
What a difference a year makes…!
A was thrilled to have the opportunity to keep up with her big brother…
The outing was a success…despite our lack of apples. It was a fun fall memory and provided an nice opportunity to wear these two nuggets out!
Be blessed.
