We have been looking forward to celebrating Uncle J & Aunt K’s wedding for a LONG time!!!!
God was so gracious to provide a beautiful wedding weekend for J & K to enjoy surrounded by family and friends.
The day before the wedding we headed down to the Farmer’s Market to pick up the flower order for the rehearsal dinner.
The flowers were so ‘happy’ looking…perfect for what we all were celebrating.
When we arrived at the rehearsal dinner, Little A started walking with her hands behind her back…she’s been doing it ever since, I have no idea why or what precipitated it, but it is adorable!
Little A enjoyed dinner from the comfort of her high chair…
While these two enjoyed the silliness that being 3 & 4 holds!
K & J shared some sweet stories about friends and family as they thanked everyone for celebrating with them.
The next day, these two were all smiles as we rehearsed one last time!
Then it was off to get ready for the ceremony.
B was lucky enough to hang out with C and the other groomsman.
This was the first time I’d ever seen our little man in a suit with a tie…oh, how I would have liked to see C tie this miniature tie around B’s neck…he looked so grown up!
Little A hung out with the girls as we got ready…
The photographer snapped photos before the ceremony. B was less than impressed with this part of the day…I’ll admit, that a Pezzdispenser was brought out on occasion as a little incentive to smile…
Gram cam to the rescue on many occasions as B’s shirt didn’t want to stay tucked in.
Uncle J’s smile went from ear to ear…what an honor to watch!
I wish I had more photos of the BEAUTIFUL bride and groom…they were so gracious to include us in their special day!
After photos, we headed upstairs to wait for the ceremony to begin. A snapped this photo of the three ‘sisters’ just before the ceremony began…
All while B ‘practiced’ his walking with C and the other guys outside…
Suffice it to say, I think he liked his ‘Wedding Clothes’!
The ceremony was beautiful! I’ll be honest, I cried through most of it…happy tears of course! J & K’s pastor spoke such encouragement and truth. It was such a honor to stand up with these two special people and to look at the congregation and see how loved they each and our respective families are.
After the ceremony, we snapped a quick family photo…
Before welcoming in the bride and groom!
Little A enjoyed dinner, but seemed more content to hang out with her Grandpa…
While B toasted and ‘cheered’ the happy couple with his milk!
God couldn’t have provided a more beautiful day…the sun was shinning, the temperature perfect and the chance to celebrate such a special day surround by family and friends was a gift.
J & K, thank you for including us in such a special moment in your lives…we are so glad to finally call you all Mr. & Mrs!
Be blessed.
I pulled up your blog post, and Trip asked, "Is that me?" when he saw B in his suit. I think our little guys were ring bearers on the same weekend, or at least close. How funny! We miss you all!!
