Our oldest nugget has taken to inventing. His inventions typically have a purpose (or multiple purposes) that only his little mind can totally comprehend…but it is fun to see the little wheels inside his engineer-like minded head turn!
Be blessed.

We were able to squeeze in a very important birthday celebration with all of our Thanksgiving festivities.
The setting was simple.
The company was sweet.
The cake delicious.
Such a gift.
Be blessed.
We were so grateful to have the chance to cheer on our favorite frogs at their last home game of the season.
This game wasn’t any run of the mill football game either…TCU played Baylor which meant we were a house divided and each donned our school appropriate colors!
At this point, the nuggets live and breath purple…so asking them to wear their purple seemed only natural!
Before heading to the game, we made a quick stop by the bridge that we became engaged on…it’s a pretty special spot for the two of us…and quite the jungle gym for nuggets!
We were able to snap a family photo…one of our firsts with everyone smiling…(thank you Gigi, Papa and Auntie B!)
The exploring only continued as we stepped onto the TCU campus.
In the end, the Bears beat our dear Frogs…it was a pretty good game…our view made us nostalgic and the entire day was a sweet family memory!
Be blessed.
After Thanksgiving, we enjoyed an early Christmas celebration with Gigi’s extended family.
We spent the day simply being together…enjoying a full table, yummy food, football and lots and lots of laughs!!! We exchanged gifts as the nuggets enjoyed ‘warming up’ for Christmas just a few short weeks later.
Gigi & Nana helped nuggets make Christmas crafts…
While Baby C enjoyed more Auntie B time!
In between lunch, football and dinner, we snuck up to the park to get some fresh air and let the kids run and play.
All 4 of the ‘big’ nuggets enjoyed having lots of grown ups to play with as they kept everyone pretty busy!
We were able to snap a photo of Great Grandpa J with 5 of his great grand nuggets…his 6th was born just a few short days later as the nuggets gained another ‘cousin’, Baby E!
The day was full…the day was sweet!
Be blessed.
In honor of tradition, we woke up early, bundled ourselves and the nuggets, donned our running gear and participated in the Turkey Trot!
The oldest nuggets were thrilled to be ‘running’ with everyone…as they were official and even had shirts and bib numbers!
The littlest nugget stayed back and bundled as he and Gigi cheer the rest of our group on!
This little girl took it all in…!
After the Trot, we headed south to Texas Mimi’s house for Thanksgiving. We were able to catch the tail end of the parade, which caught these two nugget’s fancy.
Little C enjoyed catching up with Mimi and cuddled with her while his brother and sister watched the balloons and floats.
C continues to be enamored by faces…
There is something so special about this space…this table…the place settings…probably because of it’s continuity, it doesn’t change…it’s like a time capsule of sweet memories…
The table prior to its inhabitation…
Inhabited in all it’s sweetness!
After dinner, before dessert, we went around the table and shared what we were thankful for…it was pretty special time.
After some ‘serious’ time…these two got to work on burning off their Thanksgiving dinner…
As did these two!
Thanksgiving pie wouldn’t be complete without Bluebell ice cream…this was little A’s first taste of this Texas tradition and goodness!
After dessert, we all ‘retired’ to the den to watch some football. Little C enjoyed some Aunie B time…
While these two worked on an important beading project!
Before saying our goodbyes, we snapped a few photos.
Our crew with Mimi…
Mimi and her Great-grand nuggets…
4 generations…
So much to be thankful for!
Be blessed.
